Our process

The Fathom Collective started as a personal journey.

 

We are Scott and Diane Tavenner, the founders of The Fathom Collective and, as you probably guessed, a couple.  

 

After knowing each other for decades we began to realize that we were really good at doing “hard”. 

 

We worked “hard”, we played “hard”, we loved “hard", we did “hard”.....and we got a lot from it…

 

…. a lot of outward “success” and a lot of inner struggle too.  

 

We were careening toward a divorce when we found the Enneagram…or maybe it found us?

 

The Enneagram, and other tools, give us the mirror to see and learn that:

 

The more our patterns soften,

the less leakage & friction we endure,

the more we do, 

the happier and healthier we become.   

People started asking us about our transformations and we started wondering if we could help people in a more structured way?

 

We combined Diane’s expertise in leadership and how people learn with Scott’s expertise in personal growth and facilitating Enneagram groups to create …

 

…a new way for teams to reduce leakage and friction and be extraordinary.  

 

We spent years testing and iterating our approach.

 

We learned that extraordinary teams benefit the people, the team, the organization and maybe, just maybe, the world benefits a little bit too.
